The Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy for Hull sets out how the council and its partners in healthcare and leadership around the city plan to improve health and wellbeing for all our residents.

Strategy aim

The aim of the strategy is to reduce health inequalities by improving physical and mental health for people in Hull. Health inequalities are not the fault of individual people. They are the result of social, environmental, and economic factors.

There are actions that organisations (including the council) and individuals can take to reduce the impact of inequality and improve health and wellbeing. The strategy talks about these actions – the things organisations can do, and the things people can do, both for themselves and for others.

More about the strategy can be found on the Hull City Council website.
